My First Born, My little Angel, My Squirrel...
McKaelynn, I still remember the moment I found out I was expecting her we were camping at Toledo Bend Louisiana. Mike and Brooke dog went for a walk to the little store and I took the test. I remember feeling like it was the longest wait.

Which at the time was still okay because I wasn't even 32 weeks or so. So I scheduled to turn my little angel at 35 weeks if she had not done so herself. Well on the friday I went in to turn her I found out it was to late and that I needed to come in if I felt any contractions. Well needless to say, my husband is a hunter and he was very excited to go deer hunting here in Wisconsin for his first time the next day which was November 18, 2006 opening day! So at home that night I started feeling small contraction but wanting my husband to be able to go hunting held out. That Sat morning I went to my moms and the boys went hunting I layed around for awhile that morning then my mom asked me to go to walmart. By this time Mike had already gotten his first Deer!! On opening day!! We made a plan and if I was to go in I would honk three times and he would come and we would go have a baby! So I went to walmart. Contractions picked up.. My mom said oh we need to go home and eat something!! Funny how moms are. So we went back had a sandwich and called the Dr. Went and honked three times. Nervous, scared, happy, excited, overwhelmed all of these emotions and more ran over me. I arrived at the hospital Dr. Bakken (my favorite), checked me and I remember him saying okay we will need to have this baby within thirty minutes. I got prepped for surgery and at 2:57 pm our first little miracle was brought into the world. She weighed 6 lbs 11.3 ounces and was eighteen inches long!! McKaelynn Rennae Lorraine Schettino!
